This is the hole for the base of the 100 foot tower in the early stages of digging. The wire is the phone line to the house -- no damage!

Here is Raitienne Johanna, Zooms' 16 year old nephew, just beginning the pickaxe work to dig one of the anchors for the 100 foot tower.

Rensel Johanna working (hard) with the jack hammer on 2 July 2001 to break out rock and coral for the ocean guy anchor for the 80 foot tower. This is the only hole we could not dig deep enough, and so part of the mass of the anchor ended up above ground.
