I set up some reusable filters for RBN spots that I have found really help reduce the number of bogus spots from skimmers.  Note that these only work on AR-CLUSTER v6  such as NC7J, WC2L and K5NA.  These filters are saved on the server and are tied to the callsign that logs on.  You can save multiple filters for reuse by logging on as <callsign>-1 (e.g., K5PI-1) and setting up a filter.  You can log on again as K5PI-2 and set up a different filter and so forth.

 

I set up a filter for PJ2T-1 on the WC2L and NC7J nodes. 
 

SET DX FILTER CALL=PJ2T OR (NOT Skimmer or (SKIMMER AND UNIQUE>2))

 This filter:

• Always passes PJ2T spots
• Passes all spots from the traditional packet spotting network
• Requires that a skimmer spot be reported by at least three skimmers

 

I also set up a filter for PJ2T-2 on the WC2L and NC7J nodes. 

SET DX FILTER CALL=PJ2T OR (NOT Skimmer or (SKIMMER AND UNIQUE>2)) and (spottercont=na)
