Inventory Of Items in Storage on Curacao

CCC_SMALL1.GIF (6461 bytes)

CCC has secured a professional storage facility, thanks to PJ2MI, on the island of Curacao. We have literally half of a semi, in a highly secure and professionally-administered location. W9EFL, Cindy, W0CG, and K8RF saw the place and will vouch for its quality. These items were hauled to the island by W0CG and Cindy in July, and by the members of the PJ2C team in October of 1999. More equipment was added by W0CG and W9EFL on 15 July 2000. Given the extreme difficulty of getting equipment processed through Customs, and the high duties charged, it makes sense to leave all this stuff on the island.

Our goal is to keep adding to this stash. It is there whenever a CCC group wants to do an operation on Curacao, large or small. Each trip, we will add more gear. Eventually, when we buy an operating location in the Caribbean, these materials can be moved to that location en masse.

W0CG and PJ2MI are the only people with signature authority to access the storage at present.

The storage facility can receive shipments -- thus we could ship anything, even tower sections to our "semi" and have them placed in secure storage without any of us being there. They would be there waiting when we arrived for the next operation.

Rent is $105.30 USD/month. Each of W8AV, K4LT, WA9S, W0NB, W0CG, W9EFL, N4OKX, K8RF, N8LGP, W8TK, and W9VA are contributing $10/month to support our storage costs.

(The detail in the list below may seem a little bit silly, but it will be a great help when we plan future ventures.)

Click on a link below to go straight to that category. Items in black were placed in storage on November 2, 1999. Other colors will be used for items stored in the future.
