The week of CQWW SSB 2001 this gentleman (Rebert) began a major project to build 320 linear feet of two meter high landscaping wall around the west and north sides of the property. Here he is cutting rebar matting for the footer.

Each of these piles is 250 blocks, part of the eventual 1700 blocks that will make up the wall. These are solid, this MUCH heavier than we use in the States.

The white line shows where the wall will go. Note the "ocean" anchor of the 80 foot tower in the foreground and dive boat in the background.

This excavation was occurring on Saturday afternoon of CQWW SSB -- the noise made it challenging for the run operators.
