Notes on 75/80 Inverted Vee

Antenna broke at feedpoint, north leg. Repaired by W0CG 26 June.

December 2007

Moved northwest side to back pole of the 80 delta loop for better tree clearance and more height.

September 2013

Removed from service by bringing wires down sides of US tower. Feedline is still attached and goes to "75 Inv Vee" port on the entry bulkhead, but is disconnected. May serve as 40 backup antenna in future.

February 2014

Converted to 40 meter inverted vee.

22 February 2019

North wire broke at feedpoint. Took down and rebuilt everything including new wire. Reinstalled this date, functioning correctly. Possible failure point in future could be a short where the 9913 center conductor comes out of the internal poly sheath.
