Accounting:

Shared Expenses per Operator Thus Far: Totaling the above gives $2294 shared station expenses / 9 ops = $254.88 per op. In addition there will be the usual shared expenses for the team vehicle (usually about $55/op), groceries and beverages (usually about $20/day/op), lodging (below), and the shack air conditioner if we opt to use it. Shack air conditioner cost for the whole week is usually about $19/op with a team of eight or more.

Lodging Expenses:  As you know, we have rented the Galo Vista del Mar house, which is about a 10 minute walk up the hill from the PJ2T station. As is our customary practice of many years, the cost of lodging is spread equally among all members of the team, regardless if whether you are sleeping in Signal Point or in off site rental space. CCC non-members put in 30% additional for their lodging share in recognition of the annual dues that our members put into our kitty. For our team size of five non-members and four CCC members and five non-members, that lodging cost works out to $355.35 for the week for members and $461.96 for non-members. These numbers may change as our team composition changes.

Grocery and Beverage Expenses: To be calculated after the contest, but usually about $20/person/day based on our experience last year. Also, 50% of the airfare of our chef, W3ACO, is subsidized by the team in appreciation for Rich's being willing to take on this work. That will probably work out to about $56 per operator.
