::: Thumbs ::: Next >> ::: This is one of the ends of the 80 meter boom, with a homebrew retainer added to prevent the rope from coming off the pulley. We carefully filed this so that the edges are smooth and blunt before installation. All of the hardware is stainless. The screw on top fits into threads that we tapped into the boom and we stacked some nuts and washers onto it so it did not protrude into the boom very far. Wayne and Andy made these retainers from my template.
