::: Thumbs ::: Next >> ::: Here's the loading cap removed from the Titan III after major surgery by K6AM and W0CG. You can see the burned plates. I cleaned this up carefully and reinstalled it and all works fine. We do have a 100% new loading cap in stock for this amp, but want to get as much life as possible out of the old one first. Tuning this amp is critical, otherwise this cap will begin arcing again. To protect it I took it out of service for the off season and put an AL-1200 there.
