Some of the original pipe mast was in good shape and so I reused that, discarding the bad parts. I power wire-brushed it and put on multiple coats of epoxy. I fashioned the rest of the mast from surplus pieces of aluminum tubing. (One of these pieces used to be part of the Europe 20 yagi boom, but is too corroded to use for those kinds of loads. It serves well here, though.)
